Projektet European Pact for Integration (EPI) ska stärka och förbättra lokala integrationsstrategier för tredjelandsmedborgare (TLM) i sju europeiska städer: Cartagena, Cluj, Dietzenbach, Linköping, Lublin, Ravenna och Riga.

EPI kommer att samla lokala myndigheter, sociala företag, civilsamhället och ideella organisationer i ett gränsöverskridande nätverk och initiera dialogen mellan dessa olika intressenter i syfte att främja kommunens gemensamma integrationsarbete. Varje stad kommer att involvera sina intressenter för att gemensamt kartlägga nuläget i ett interkulturellt index, diskutera bästa tillvägagångssätt och lösningar, ta fram integrationsstrategier och implementera dessa.

  1. Assessment of cities’ performances in relation to the integration of migrants through the implementation of an Intercultural Review in each city. The results of the Review will support cities in defining policy areas where integration of migrants is more needed and lay the base for the codesign of tailored solutions.
  2. Engagement of city stakeholders in a participatory policy design process aimed to identify and co-design solutions;
  3. Definition of and pilot implementation of one City Integration Strategy in each city.
  4. Upscaling project methods and outputs at European level with online (e.g. website, social media, videos) and offline tools (e.g. Reports, National conferences, Final European Conference). Specific actions will be taken to identify cities outside the consortium interested to replicate project methods and tools in their territories.

Projektmetoder och resultat kommer att spridas på europeisk nivå digitalt och i konferenser, EPI ska även hitta andra städer som är intresserade av att använda projektets metoder och verktyg.
EPI startade den 1 januari 2020 och avslutas 30 juni 2022. Projektet har fått medel från Europeiska unionens AMIF-program.
